We are a small free museum in Redcliff, AB Canada. We are also a
non-profit organization similar to the US designation of 501-c-3. Our
revenue comes from general donations, donations from local community
groups, operating grants from the local municipality, Young Canada Works
staff for our summer student, casino fundraising and hopefully soon a
staffing grant from a museum association. If you can get into a class
about writing grant requests, I highly suggest it. I took mine online
through a nearby community college.

Good luck!
