The Registrars Committee of AAM published a great book a couple of years
ago. It's called "The New Museum Registration Methods" and it is available
from the American Association of Museums. You can order it on-line from
their web site, too. In it are all the procedures and forms that you'll need
to guide you in acknowledging donors and insuring you've transfered legal
title to your objects from the donor to your museum. I highly recommend that
you acquire a copy of this book.
