Many thanks to the folks who replied to my request for help
in cataloging some herbal medications in our collections of
old-time doctors supplies. Thanks especially to Holly for
her suggestion of consulting the MeSH or Medical Subject
Headings sources. I have gone to the internet and through
the National Library of Medicine - Medical Subject Headings
pages have arrived at the conclusion that we will add to our
Lexicon the Objectname of Plants, Medicinal uinder the
Category 5 and the Med & Psch. T&E Sub-category and then use
the Description for specific naming of the herbs, etc.
The other suggestions were helpful, also, especially in
regard to linking individual objects.
Thanks-
Bob Scott
