The seven-fold impact is my recollection also. But this is based on studies
made in the 1970's. I don't know if there is more current research.

Hello all.
Quick inquiry.  I believe it was on this list I once read a person stating a
very simple equation for estimating the economic impact of an arts org. on a
community.  As I recall you take the operating budget of the org. and
multiple it by 7.  I hope to confirm if the equation is correct or not and
am looking for the source.
