Senior Sales Associate, Art Gallery, New York City

For our internationally renowned art gallery client we are seeking a Senior
Sales Associate.  The successful candidate will work with the Executive and
Sales teams to develop sales in the primary and secondary market with a
focus on Contemporary Art.  Duties include: managing all aspects and stages
of sales; development of client relations with private, corporate and museum
collections; liaising with artists; market research and analysis; attendance
at major auctions, art fairs and other programs; other duties as necessary.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' experience with a major
gallery or auction house, extensive client contacts, a proven sales record
and excellent communications, networking and organizational skills.  BA in
Art History or related discipline required. Excellent salary, commission and
benefits. An excellent position for a polished and proactive team player
