The registration deadline for AASLH's Basics of Archives Online Course
is May 4. The course is scheduled for May 9-June 3. Participants
proceed at their own pace through this online workshop that covers the
basics of archives management and practices including acquiring
collections, processing, housing and preservation, and providing access.
Cost for the workshop is $85 for members and $150 for nonmembers.
This course is a beginning level course designed for professional staff
and volunteers of historical organizations and libraries who have little
to no experience with archival materials.
