We are a private conservation firm looking for conservation cleaning technicians. We work on indoor and outdoor sculptures and monuments, architecture and architectural elements, fountains, bridges, archeological, agricultural, and industrial artifacts all over North America.

We are hiring for a specific project that involves cleaning artifacts at a museum in Chantilly, VA. A significant part of the work will be performed from aerial work platforms so confidence working at height is necessary, though training will be given. Applicants should be capable of climbing, carrying 50 lbs and standing for long periods.

Desirable:
- museum experience
- experience working at height or operating lifts

Applicants must:
- be reliable
- be detail oriented
- be good with tools
- be capable of working on fragile and delicate items
- adhere to site safety protocols
- maintain a positive attitude

Applicants must:
- be a US citizen or have valid working papers
- be able to pass a background check for security purposes
- have a valid driver's license
- have own transportation

Hours are weekdays approximately 6am to 10am, 20 hrs per week. Training will be provided. Start date is mid January 2016.

For the right applicant, work on other projects is a possibility. This work may include metal patination, stone carving, sculpting, mold making, welding and mortar repair.
