The Livingston Depot Center in Livingston, Montana recently received an NEH
grant to study the long-term effects the shaking of the very near freight
trains has on their collection. I'm afraid I don't know the director (I
read about the grant in the local paper) but their contact information is: P
O Box 1319, Livingston, MT 59047; (406) 222-2300--no email listed in my
Montana Museums guide. I'm anxiously awaiting the results of the study as
we too are located very near the railroad (as are many Montana museums
located in old passenger depots).

Sincerely,
Anne L. Foster
