AAM MUSE Awards 2001 Entry Deadline

The American Association of Museums Media and Technology Standing Professional Committee's MUSE Awards recognize excellence in CD-ROMs, interactive experiences on the museum floor, web sites and videos produced by or for museums. The deadline for the 2001 MUSE Awards for outstanding media projects and programs produced by and for museums in the 2000 calendar year is Feb. 16, 2001. The 2001 MUSE awards will be presented at a special early evening awards ceremony at the AAM Annual Meeting in Saint Louis, MO, May 6-10, 2001

In order to respond to how museum media and technology has evolved and converged over the last ten years, The Committee is introducing new categories for judging the MUSE 2001 entries. In a departure from previous years, the new categories are based on the primary purpose of the program, regardless of the media in which it is executed. Please visit the Media and Technology website to read about the new categories, criteria and to access up-to-date entry forms and entry information.

The AAM Media and Technology Committee Web Site is located at www.mediaandtechnolgy.org. Please contact Deborah Howes, the 2001 MUSE Awards Chair at [log in to unmask] with any questions.
