Dear listers,
I have a small number of videocassettes in my archives/manuscripts
collection (approximately two dozen). I've never dealt with videocassettes
yet, and most of the books I have don't deal with anything that new (darn
fifty years-old rule!).
I'm wondering how/if I should attach semi-permanent numbers (i.e.
liquid-label) to the videocassette. Is the standard paraloyd/acraloyd method
acceptable? Is there another method I should use? Should I even be labeling
the cassettes themselves, instead concentrating on their covers? How do
those of you with item numbered videocassette (or other modern-day
multi-media collections) deal with numbering individual items?
Thanks in advance,
George Garner
