I am currently teaching a sort of introduction to museum careers class
(extra-curricular) to high school students in New Lebanon, New York. It is a pilot
program, began in October and will run through May. Students are learning about
museums, challenging their notion of what a museum is, and having the
opportunity to research, develop, install, and introduce two exhibits - one really
small one that is already up and the next larger one that will open in May.

I would be happy to talk to you more about it. I have 5 students in the class
with 4 regulary in attendance. It's turning into a great experience for me
and I hope for them.

I would also be interested in hearing from others about their programs.
