Dear Colleagues,
Looking for a fun way to engage with peers about exciting research you've
worked on? Consider the CARE Marketplace of Ideas at AAM in April! The
deadline to submit proposals is fast approaching - one week away! Read on
to learn more about how you can share your work.
The 2015 CARE Marketplace of Ideas at the American Alliance of Museums
Annual Meeting will explore the conference theme of “The Social Value
of Museums: Inspiring Change,” by showcasing how audience research and
evaluation can inform museums as they seek to find meaningful and socially
relevant ways of interacting and engaging with the public.
The purpose of the CARE Marketplace is to show audience research and
evaluation work currently being undertaken in and for museums and to
encourage museums of all sizes and types to engage in audience research and
evaluation. Each presenter prepares a poster, or other form of display,
handouts, and materials as relevant. Displays will be on view concurrently
during the two-hour session on Monday, April 27, 2015 from 3:15 PM-5:15 PM.
