This book has recently been published in translation as, Emile Male.
Religious Art in France: The Twelfth Century: A Study of the Origins of
Medieval Iconography. (Bolingen Series: XC-1) Princeton University ress,
Princeton, NJ,  1978.  The editor is Harry Bober.
