Apologies for cross postings.
Dear Wise List,
Does anyone out there, especially in the DC area, use LED lighting as
your main source of lighting in your gallery? We just installed 12V LED
lights from Edison LED by Fiberdyne Energy. After we installed the
lights in our fixtures, we noticed the lights had a blue-ish tint to
them and are kind of harsh. There are pros to installing LED even though
the cost is higher: last longer, no UV, no heat....So do the pros
outweigh the cons?
Other Questions:
Do the lights look blue because our other halogen MR16 lights look
yellow?
Will installing more lights help with this or is there a way to balance
the blue tone?
Any help would be very much appreciated. Thank you in advance,
Stephanie Randall
