The National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame has an immediate opening
for a Curatorial Assistant. This is a part-time position (25-30 hours
per week). Under the supervision of the Curator, the curatorial
assistant will provide comprehensive support including:
assisting in the coordination of exhibitions; installation and
deinstallation of exhibitions; artifact, photograph and archive
management and maintenance; supervising student interns and volunteers;
creating and maintaining loan and donor files; research; work with
databases and other duties as the need arises.
Familiarity with Pastperfect is a plus; as well as Photoshop, internet
and basic office skills. In addition, must be a personable,
detail-oriented team player with the ability to handle multiple tasks
and projects while maintaining flexibility in a collaborative,
fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
