COLLECTIONS CARE
Proper care of Museum Collections including handling of objects, the
effects of light, humidity, pests and other environmental concerns and
practical advice for addressing environmental issues. Question and
Answer session about your museum's concerns.

LONG RANGE PLANNING
How to utilize a CAP or other conservation survey to advance
conservation in your museum through education and further grant
applications. Creating a long-range plan for conservation.

HANDS ON REVIEW OF A CURRENT CP PROGRAM IN ACTION
Ms. Jessup and Biedenharn Museum and Gardens Curator of Collections,
Justin French, will detail the process which led to the Biedenharn
Museum and Gardens' successful IMLS Conservation Support Grant
Application and will demonstrate recently installed environmental
equipment.

REGISTRATION
The $65 registration includes the workshop, handouts, light breakfast,
lunch and shuttle van from the Atrium Hotel. Deadline for registration
is Friday, July 12.

We have reserved a limited number of rooms at the Atrium Hotel at a
special rate of $55 per night. Call the museum 318-387-5281 for further
details.

Participants are invited to gather for dinner the evening before the
Workshop. Transportation provided.
