Ken,

Thank you so much for responding to my question. The museum studies certificate program at Florida State University (where I would attend) is relatively new, so they really couldn't answer my question about how a certificate helps in employablity. From what I think you're saying, a museum studies certificate is really unnecessary and that I should concentrate on finding internships. But, FSU's certificate program does include one semester of internship, perhaps that would be a good starting point. I just don't know enough and want to make the right decision that will take me down the road I want to go.

Does this message go out to everybody or just to you (I'm replying to your email to me)? I'm new to listserving.

Thank you again,
Jennifer
