It’s not too late to use AASLH’s Visitors Count! program to help you survey your visitors this summer and fall. AASLH understands that visitor research is critical for marketing, planning, fundraising, and program development. That’s why we developed the most comprehensive visitor research tool available to mid- and large-sized history organizations.
Visitors Count! provides confidential data that helps museums create visitor-driven strategic plans, strengthens marketing and fundraising, and focuses improvement efforts on what matters most to visitors. Over 160 museums have already used Visitors Count! to collect valuable data and feedback from their visitors.

Choose from three Visitors Count! survey instruments: museum visitors, historic house visitors, or education/teachers and discover these results:

a.. Better understand visitor wants and needs
b.. Benchmark your ratings against organizations of similar type, budget size, geographic location, and more. Only Visitors Count! offers this important benefit!
c.. Improve credibility with funders and other stakeholders
d.. Include visitor concerns and preferences in strategic planning
e.. Allocate precious resources, like money and time, to have the greatest positive impact
f.. Identify areas critical to the visitor experience and use that information to market key strengths and focus improvement efforts
Along with the use of a proven survey instrument, you receive custom questions to ask about issues specific to your site. The program fee is $4,200 ($3,500 for AASLH institutional members) payable in two installments (over two fiscal years for most institutions).

Visitors Count! is a valuable resource for collecting information only visitors can provide and well worth the investment of time and money.
