Hi folks,
I am a long time follower of the Museum Listserve but do not post very
often. I just received my Masters in Photography with a minor in Museum
Studies from UNM in Albuquerque, NM and am headed to Houston at the end of
the month!
My husband will be attending graduate school at Rice University for
Architecture so we will be living there for the indefinite future.

I have only been to Houston once and while I have done hours of museum
research it's nice to get some real-person perspective.
Anyone in/around/have experience in the Houston arts scene? Tell me about
it! Good job opportunities? Good people? Where should I hang out, apply,
make friends, etc?!

Thanks guys, excited about the move but nervous to start all over in the
networking scene!
