The American Society of Appraisers is based in Chicago at
208 South LaSalle Street, Chicago IL 60604.  If you call
them (312 332-0222) they can give you information about
appraisers in your area who are specialists in specific
types of material.  Another option is to call the registrars
office of a likely museum and ask who they use for appraisal.
