Subject: [MUSEUM-L] Metal Boat- Need Ident Help

Am posting for the local historical society. The town was the site of a
resort and spring in early 20th century, and a boat in the collection was
possibly used at the resort. We're looking for help with identification,
dating, and conservation.

This is 14' steel hulled boat. Could be as early as ca 1920, but we have no
date associated. No ribbing, just sheet metal over a frame. Teardrop
shaped bow and sides, the back of the boat is flat and horizontal to the
bow.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
