I am posting this for a friend.

Her museum is a private non-profit museum that receives some money from the City, and is AAM accredited. The archives charges researchers if they are going to publishing something and use images or information from the archives. They charge around $50 if it's published in a book, $75 in an ad, and $25 in a commercial decorative display. The question is can the same thing be done with 3-D objects as well? She thinks not but cannot come up with any concrete reasons against it. So the question is what do other museums do?

Thanks for the input
