What is disintermediation?
(It's better to learn something than remain ignorant out of fear of
asking!)
Thanks,

The same is true with museum websites that use flash components and
graphic links instead of word links. Visitors who use text-only or
audio-only browsers or have a slow internet connection get a few
snippets of text or worse--a load of gobbledy-gook. The site may be
engaging for those who can load it, but we have to include an
equally-engaging version for those who can't. Interactivity doesn't
have to be lost, it just has to be reinvented. Disintermediation only
happens when the medium is as good as its message.
