Sales Director, Galerie Chantel Crousel, Paris
For Galerie Chantel Crousel, our renowned Paris contemporary art gallery
client, we are seeking a Sales Director. The successful applicant will
collaborate with the Senior Director and team to plan, implement and oversee
long-term sales strategies of international contemporary art in both the
primary and secondary markets; assist with all aspects of related
programming; build and maintain relationship with private and corporate
collectors, museums and other potential clients; develop new sales and other
opportunities; initiate and close sales; attend major auctions, art fairs
and arts & culture events; other responsibilities as necessary. The ideal
candidate will have at least 5-8 years in the international art market in a
sales role, preferably at a major contemporary art gallery; fluency in
French and English; a proven sales record with demonstrated relationship
with clients; and extensive knowledge of the international art market and
related trends. BA required; excellent communications, client relations and
organizational skills necessary. Some travel. An excellent opportunity for
an energetic and market-savvy professional with the desire to work with a
