Attending The Symposium

      Since there are a limited number of places available for the symposium,
to
reserve a place please contact Janet O'Connor (301) 431-5451.  Registration is
free, but there is an $8.00 charge for lunch.

Location

      The George Meany Memorial Archives is located at 10000 New Hampshire
Avenue, Silver Spring, Maryland 20903.  This is one full block north of the
Washington Beltway (U.S. 495 exit 28a) on New Hampshire Avenue, about a thirty-
five minute drive from downtown Washington, D.C.  Turn left on to the campus at
the traffic light at Powder Mill Road; the first service station north of the
beltway marks the intersection.  There is ample parking space.

      If arriving by public transportation take the Metrorail red line to the
Silver Spring station and then transfer to either the #20 or #22 Montgomery
County "Ride-ON" bus to the Powder Mill Road (Hillendale) stop.
