How about making an agreement that the museum will get a royalty on
sales of the patterns?  They could use it as an advertising
ploy--"buying this product helps the museum"--and you'd get free
publicity and a little money.

I'd think it would help the sale of the patterns, too, especially if
there was also some historical background included.  As a former
embroidress (don't have time anymore!), I know I'd have been interested
in such a product!
