Hi all -
My museum recently acquired some archive objects from a donor who smoked.
The documents were reviewed for accession digitally, and so we were
entirely surprised upon opening the package to discover that they reek of
cigarette smoke. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to handle these
documents? I am highly hesitant to store them within a shared records box
with other archives as that would trap smells in.
Thank you for your help,
Beth
