The problem with selling photographs of celebrities, living or dead, is
their "right of publicity," which passes to heirs. It may not be a problem with
a few sales of pictures for personal use, but it can come into play if the
pictures are used for commercial purposes. There could also be a problem if
someone decides you're simply making too much money from the sales. The King
estate, for example, is known to be especially vigilant about the use of
images of Martin Luther King. You may need advance permission and can be charged
fees. I would strongly suggest consulting an attorney.
