The Montgomery County Historical Society in Dayton, Ohio is pleased to
announce openings for two interns to work at the Engineer's Club, a local
private historical organization dedicated to preserving engineering
developments and principles. Duties for the three month internship will
include cataloguing and inventorying the nationally significant collections
of the institution, as well as assisting in the development of a collections
policy for the organization. This is an excellent opportunity to learn the
practical applications of museum theory. Stipend for the three month period
is $6.50/hr plus lunch during the work week is also included as part of the
reimbursement package. For more information please send resume and cover
letter to Brian Hackett, Executive Director, Montgomery County Historical
Society, 224 N. St. Clair Street, Dayton, Ohio, 45402. Deadline for
applications is May 18, 2000.
