Does one size fit all when it comes to what visitors want and need for a high quality museum visit? Nope. Not at all. Even among museums of similar type (outdoor museums and historic sites, for example) attributes that determine a high quality visit vary greatly. To identify your museum’s unique visitor experience attributes, you need to collect real, actionable data instead of relying on old and often inaccurate assumptions. Only with real data can you develop a successful growth plan for your institution.
With the start of a new school year quickly approaching, AASLH’s Visitors Count! program is preparing to work with client organizations to survey teachers who bring classes for an onsite program.
Visitors Count! helps you gain critical insight into your museum’s unique visitor experience attributes. It is the most comprehensive visitor research tool available to mid- and large-sized history organizations. Check out the list of institutions already using Visitors Count! to collect valuable visitor data and feedback.
AASLH offers a convenient payment plan that allows organizations to pay the $3,750 program fee over two fiscal years.
We need to hear from you by August 15 if you want to survey teachers during the 2017-18 school year.
