Hello fellow Museum Folk!
I just wanted to mention a new article on the PACIN website focusing on an
interesting new (sort of)opportunity to purchase materials for the care of your
collection(s).
It is something that may sound familiar because it is the kind of thing that
many of us that tend to wear more than one hat have talked about endlessly.
This example though is the first successful real-life, fully functional example
that I have come across.
I realize that procurement may not fall directly under your job description but
if your postition involves any kind of budget then potential monies saved could
be helpful anyway in this day and age it seems to me.
If this kind of issue applies to your situation please click Here and check it
out.
If this doesn't apply to you, please consider passing it on to the individual
within your institution for whom it does.
We have a potential operating as a professional community that we don't
neccesarily have as individual institutions.
Hope everyone is having a good weekend and hopefully a great short week!
(Also my apologies at this point to folks on multiple listserves who may have
come across this notice already)
Best regards,
Timothty Ashley McGrew
