The Visitor Studies Association (VSA) will hold its 19th Annual
Conference from July 25 - 29, 2006, in Grand Rapids, MI. Conference
workshops and programs focusing on this year's theme "Counting Visitor
or Making Visitors Count? Research for Changing Practice" are designed
for all levels of professionals who are interested in visitor
experiences in informal learning settings. More information about VSA
and the 2006 conference can be found at www.visitorstudies.org.

Two conference scholarships are available. The April Award (a $400
travel stipend and complimentary conference registration) is offered to
a VSA member who is new to the audience research and evaluation field.
In addition, a new student scholarship (complimentary conference
registration) is being offered to VSA student members who are attending
their first VSA conference. Applications are due by APRIL 1, 2006.
Please visit the VSA website www.visitorstudies.org
<http://www.visitorstudies.org/> for more details and an application.

I would be happy to answer any questions and would appreciate your help
in getting the word out about these opportunities.
Thanks very much.
