The news media did some reporting about the state of museums
in the L.A. area immediately after the quake, with the Getty
getting some mention.  I can't remember which newspaper since
I was reading The New York Times, Washington Post and Philadelphia
Inquirer during that period, though I think it must have been
the Times.  My impression was that things did pretty well at
the Getty.
