I still use Kodachrome slides for lectures that I took and have used since
1965.  Kodachrome is supposed to be the best stuff, for reasons explained to
me but I don't understand, except that they work.  Also, store them on
polyproylene (sp?) pages.  That's what the Library of Congress uses, or used
to if they still don't.  And, they're cheap.  We all like that!
