The 1996-97 Survey of Salaries and Benefits published by the Museum
Association of New York is available at a cost of $25, plus $3 for
shipping and handling.  This highly regarded human resources
management tool surveys nearly 200 museums in NY State, analyzing
salary data by museum budget size, discipline, and geographic
location.  In addition, the survey provides important data related
