fully paid for. Principal exhibits feature local history, a gallery for
changing art and history exhibits, a collection of one-fourth life-size
Historic FiguresŪ, and antique farm implements. Facilities include a
historical research library, and a museum store. An art collection
emphasizes the work of Ventura County artists. The paid staff numbers 8
full-time with 8 part-time employees. An effective, active docent
program is carried out by 130 docents.

The Board of Directors seeks a dynamic and knowledgeable museum
professional with excellent leadership, interpersonal, fund raising and
communications skills to lead and administer a dynamic institution.

or western history is desirable. Museum experience is also highly
desirable.
