The city of
Dickinson is currently accepting applications for a Museum Center
Coordinator/Historic Preservationist. The successful candidate will be
responsible for developing, promoting, and managing the operation of the Museum
Center, which includes the Joachim Museum, Pioneer Machinery Building, and all
historic buildings in Prairie Outpost Park.
In addition promoting the renaissance zone, working with Historic
Preservation Commission on their projects and promotions, and other matters
relating to historic preservation in the City.
The position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in History, Historic
Preservation, Museum Management or related field and three years of
progressively responsible positions as curator, historic preservationist or an
equivalent combination of education and experience. Full position details are

$48,000 - $70,000 plus a full benefit package to include retirement, medical
insurance, life insurance, flexible benefits, vacation/sick leave and paid
holidays.
