I am a MA student currently working on my disseration. The topic of my
thesis is a volunteer life brigade museum off the coast of England. The
museum is suffering because it is a secondary function to the Brigade's
main purpose, that is, lifesaving. I am interested in finding
information about other organisations, life saving, maritime or
otherwise, who share a similar dilemma, that is, that the museum takes
the back seat to their primary function. I am particularly interested
in volunteer organisations. Any information you can provide would be
