Sarah,

Years ago I worked with Vincent Ciulla on the Museo De Oro in Codta Rica. The project included a partially constructed native Palenque (an indigenous home). We leveraged a lot of good media and goodwill by arranging for the indigenous people to build it using traditional materials and techniques. Perhaps you could reach out to the people in your region who built these traditional structures and pull in their community as friends of your museum.

Best,

We have tried a few different techniques and keep running into problems. Does anyone have any ideas about how to construct such a thing?
