A big thank you to all who have replied to my query about removing adhesive transfer tape from photographs/mats. The consensus, of course, is to consult a conservator; unfortunately, that just ain't in the budget, so I'll probably just have to let well enough alone. But I do appreciate hearing from so many people. These lists are a great resource.
