We are building up our Exhibits team at The Tech Museum of Innovation to
handle several major projects that have recently received funding. Please
see the 3 job descriptions below. Major projects under way at The Tech
include a 3000 s.f. exhibit on techology and genetics, 3000 s.f. exhibit on
the Internet, 1000 s.f. exhibit on microchip design, and a current
technologies initiative. In addition, we have a full slate of travelling
exhibits and are evaluating blockbuster-scale exhibitions for 2004 and 2005.

MANAGER OF EXHIBIT DEVELOPMENT

The Manager of Exhibit Development will lead Exhibit Developers in
conceiving, researching, developing, and evaluating permanent, temporary,
and traveling exhibitions and also serve as the Lead Developer on selected
exhibit projects. Position requires previous supervisory experience plus 7
years experience in leading the development of major exhibitions.

SENIOR EXHIBIT DEVELOPER

The Senior Exhibit Developer will have responsibility for the research,
development, evaluation, and modification of permanent exhibits.  Candidates
should have 5+ years experience with exhibit development and evaluation.

SENIOR MANAGER OF EXHIBIT PROJECTS

This position will provide project management leadership for the creation
and implementation of permanent, temporary, and traveling exhibitions.
Responsibilities include managing cross-departmental project teams as well
as the Exhibit Projects staff, developing and maintaining project documents
including schedules, budgets, cost estimates, contracts, and time-tracking
systems for all major exhibit projects. Also responsible for researching,
identifying, coordinating and securing traveling exhibitions.  Position
requires previous experience as a Project Manager for multiple projects with
large budgets and complex schedules.
