Thanks Ron, but I manage the travel program for The Jewish Museum. I strongly doubt we could even half sell out a trip to Egypt
or Morocco at this time. We had one scheduled to Morocco recently and cancelled when we saw disidents mobbing/trying to burn down the Israeli embassy -
our membership follows the international news quite closely. The Museum's trips have all of the usual tourist places plus strong
Jewish content.

Hi, Marcia:

Although there is an occasional ruckus, we do avoid these situations. For example, in Cairo, we will stay at the airport hotel instead of our usual hotels at Giza. My tour operator has just returned from Egypt where he conducted two tours for the (high priced) Archaeological Institute of America. Both were quire safe. There is an additional benefit at this time, tourists are quite scarce, but are much needed. See the testimonial on my Web site about the Egyptian people. Also there are the Tourist Police whose job it is to protect and help tourists.
Hope you will join one or our tours. . .

Ron

Hi Ron, just curious, how safe is Egypt these days?

Greetings all . . .

We have added a new tour of Egypt to include all the expected major sites, but to do it all in one week - Sunday to Sunday.
Our two week tour is still open and, of course, includes Amarna, Abydos and Dendera. (Not included in the one week tour.)
See both itineraries at www.AncientEmpires-Tours.com<http://www.AncientEmpires-Tours.com> and register now!
