Dear List,

 

We have a staff member traveling to Florence after the holidays.  As she
is currently conducting an inventory, and preparing to pack several
thousand pieces of women's clothing for our building move in three
years, she would like to make contact with our collections colleagues at
the Pitti Palace while she is there.  She's hoping to see how they store
costumes for the long term and how they approach conservation concerns.

 

Does anyone have a contact at the Pitti in the collections or
conservation dept?
