Fellow listers;

I agree with Ann and Pamela. Indigo has been a terrific resource and a
thoughtful contributor to the list. We need to keep experience professionals
on the list, and thank you, Indigo for putting up with the personal diatribe
you received over the list recently.

I have to chime in on this one too. I completely agree with Pamela. Indigo
is articulate and thoughtful, and contributes a great deal to the list.
There is no reason on earth to attack her. This list exists to foster
professional discourse and share information. Indigo does just that, and
she does it well. Surely we can provide other points of view relating to
points people are making without attacking them personally.

Dear Listers,

I have remained silent during this barrage, but now it is time to speak.

Indigo's posts are wonderful. I appreciate her viewpoints. I really don't
understand why some people periodically seem to take offense and have to
criticize her. It seems to me that such people have no content of their own
to offer, and so, to get attention, they decide to bash someone else.

Indigo, keep posting. I appreciate your experience and your knowledge.

I'm also sorry that we lost Harry Needham, another experienced museum
professional whose advise was practical and useful, but who has left the
list due to this bad spirited nonsense.

Let's try to be professionals on this list, please, and refrain from any
more personal attacks. It is getting old.

Cordially,
Pamela Sezgin
