You may have to design your own PhD program in museum studies. One
suggestion is to go to a university with a good history department, and
ALSO courses in museum studies. There are really no formal PhD
programs in museum studies, but I think you should be able to work
one out with a reputable university with strong ties to museum studies
and a good director to advise you. You have a year to check tham out.
