Look at the Upper Canada Village website, a collection of period buildings
relocated/rescued from the flooding that occurred as a result of the
construction of the St. Lawrence Seaway. It is one of Ontario's favourite
tourist attractions. We go at least once a year and always buy freshly
baked bread that was milled and baked on site.

You could look at Stratford Hall Plantation- the birthplace of Robert E.
Lee. I've only visited once, but I believe that they had all that, and they
are in VA.

Subject: Farmhouse/Store Museum
One of our historic sites is in the process of developing a strategic and
interpretive plan for a farmhouse / country store. They have a large chunk
of property that has a great deal of history on it, including a ferry
landing, a blacksmith shop, a sawmill, and so on. They are looking for
regional examples of similar organizations to get ideas from - can anyone
suggestion one in the Maryland/ Washington/ Virginia region (or elsewhere)?
Thank you in advance.
