Erica, have you considered pairing with your local
cable company?  You could have them do a
public-interest piece on your Museum, show docents in
action, and end with a plea for help.

Generally speaking, most cable shows I've seen like
that on the local channel repeat shows, and they could
do a banner that plays when the show isn't repeating
on a periodic basis.

Worth a try.
