Hi Everyone,
I have a few questions about vinyl record storage. We have about 50 sets of phonographs records. Most of these sets from the 1950’s are books that contain 3 or 4 records held in paper sleeves. They are currently being stored vertically in archival boxes, but the books are loose in the box. I have seen archival sleeves for records, but I wasn’t sure if there is any kind of material that could be used to separate the books within the boxes (or if there even needs to be a separation). Also, is it okay to leave the records within the sleeves? The records themselves appear to be in very good shape, and the books are in good condition but are currently not as protected as the records.
Thanks for any suggestions!
