Avitra Exhibit Technologies http://www.avitra.com/maz/offers several name brand Dome Speakers. At this time the best value is the Soundtube FPS20-8 @ $449.00/each. Also this speaker can be used with many different audio amplifiers. Some Dome manufacturers recommend a custom tuned audio amplifier which can cost more than the Dome Speaker in some cases. Additionally, Avitra offers a special audio amplifier that actually listens to the rooms ambient noise level and adjusts accordingly. This special amplifier ($289.00) can be used with or without a Dome Speaker. Ask from Jim 847-803-4832.

localize sound, and I found this:

Check under products / sound domes. It's flash so you have to watch a lot
of dancing baloney and the URL never changes no matter where you go on the
site (sorry).

What is being used out there to localize sound? Has anyone tried this
product? It is a rather expensive solution - anything cheaper you have
heard of or DIY'ed?

Thanks!
