Our policy is to not allow any photography at all.  We make exceptions only for P.R. purposes, either the media or for our own publications.

Our (Rijksmuseum Amsterdam) policy is not to allow flash photography.
There are several reasons, but the main reason is (are) the eyes of
our guards. Can you imagine what it means being a guard guarding the
Nightwatch and accept flashes into your eyes hundreds of times per
day. Of course exceptions are made for the media.....
